Project description
The Panevėžys BESS Park is a 15 MW / 60 MWh battery energy storage system planned for the vicinity of Panevėžys in the Panevėžys City Municipality district. Strategically connected to the 110/10 kV transformer substation, the project ensures a highly cost-effective and technically optimized grid connection point.
Cost-Effective Connection: Due to the proximity to the 110/10 kV TP connection point and the completion of all design works, the project significantly reduces implementation risks and costs, with DSO grid connection costs estimated at €500,000.
Rapid Deployment: The project is scheduled to reach Ready-to-Build (RTB) status by Q3 2026, with construction following immediately to achieve a Commercial Operation Date (COD) by Q2 2027.
